Peel the ginger root and cut to thin slices.
Boil the ginger in water for 5 minutes together with the turmeric powder, ground black pepper and cinnamon (optional).
Reduce the heat, cover and allow the to simmer for additional 5-10 minutes. The longer, the stronger the taste.
Strain the tea into your tea cup.
Add the raw honey or stevia to taste (optional).
